GatePhone App Tutorial

Follow this guide to install, configure, and use the GatePhone app on your Android device.
1. Installation
- Tap this link to download and begin installing GatePhone.
- If your browser only downloads the file:
- Open your Android File Manager.
- Tap on the
gatephone.apk file.
- Allow installation from Unknown Sources when prompted.
- Tap Install to confirm.
✔ You’ve successfully installed GatePhone!
2. Configuration
- Open the GatePhone app.
- Grant all requested permissions.
- Enter your username and password as provided.
- Tap Login.
3. Using the Application
Once permissions are granted and you're logged in:
- When a doorbell button is pressed, GatePhone will notify you even if running in the background.
- Open the app to answer and begin a voice call.
- You can talk with the visitor and open the barrier if necessary.
- The call lasts up to 2 minutes. If it ends, the visitor must press the button again.
Note: The barrier can only be opened during an active call.
🔓 To open the barrier, tap the barrier icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
